ANNOUNCEMENT: VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBER 


The Cultural Equity Lab (CEL), under The Global Institute for Poverty Reduction -- a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to support diversity and inclusion efforts of development organizations that serve global communities. The CEL Board of Directors comprises development and health practitioners with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. As a startup organization, CEL’s board strives to increase diversity and cultural competence in organizations that deliver support services to vulnerable communities. 

The CEL is seeking like-minded individuals who are willing to serve in a governance capacity of our growing board. 

Board member’s primary duties are to:

  • Attend quarterly meetings via phone or in-person

  • Attend one annual meeting, and to

  • Support the development of the organization in one of the following committees: finance, special events, development, social media, and programming

We are particularly seeking candidates with a strong background in any of the following areas: accounting, fundraising, special events, or social media. All board members are required to pay annual, tax-deductible dues.
